     "Don't do the audition Ji-li"

This is a famous quote from the father of Ji-li Jiang. Her father's one quote affected her behavior and attitude. After this quote Ji-li felt embarrassed and sad. She thought it was the end. When she saw her teacher disappointed at Ji-li her heart fell. Just because of this one quote affected Ji-li. She could not see the face of anyone without tears coming out of her eyes.

This quote is quoted by Ji-li. She actually thought Chairman Mao was doing a right thing. She believed that everything was wonderful and will go out well because she was chosen for the audition. She thought it could be a change for her but instead her father rejected causing her to fall down.
