I chose to draw the red scarf because it is the main symbol of the book. As I mentioned in my last post (Link to my First Blog Post), red symbolizes fortune and joy. In my opinion, I think that the red scarf was meant to symbolize communism and freedom. Thus, the red scarf was meant to embody the social and political representations that she covered.
