Researcher

Ji-li Jiang was born in Shanghai in 1954 and wrote an autobiography about her difficult childhood. After the book was published she was invited by many schools and conferences to speak about the book. She used to be a Science teacher in her home city in China before she went to the United States in 1984. She studied at the University of Hawaii and also worked as an Operation Analyst. In the year of 1992 she co-founded a company named East West Exchange, which promoted and facilitated cultural and business exchanges between China and other Western countries. In 2003, she founded a nonprofit organization to continue her exchange business. Today, she lives in San Francisco with her mother and father. Also she continues to attend schools to talk about her books and her experience in China. Finally, she believes that a better understanding among people around the world is the only route to global peace.
