Jonathan Gringauz Post 2 Connection Captain

Currently, in the book red scarf, the revolutionists are using the students in order to make posters to help the cause, I can relate this event to the harvesting of cotton in Uzbekistan when students from schools and universities in Uzbekistan were conscripted by the local government for agricultural work. The only difference with this event is that it literally had nothing to do with any type of revolution or change of beliefs. And, I think that I can without a doubt relate this event to the USSR in general. When I lived in Russia, even in 2006 I was genuinely scared every day. Now, for a true story, there was a reporter on TV criticizing the Russian government, nothing too bad, that's what I thought at least. But that wasn't the case when he was dead by the next week "mysteriously" and that happening was not uncommon, i saw it happen to at least 7 reporters, and that was why I was scared every second, every hour, everyday of the 2 years when I lived in Russia, hoping even me, a 6 year old wouldn't upset the government, much more the fact that am American living in the Russian capital.
"Red Guards were everywhere. Since the newspapers had praised them as the pioneers of the Cultural Revolution, every high school and college had organized Red Guards to rebel against the old system." that excerpt is from the second part of the book I read this week, and again, I can relate this  to when I lived in Russia, and yet again the only difference is that these guards where protecting there own government. Remember, everything you're about to read is true. My maid had just told us that men in suits came into our house and plugged "a box" into our computer claming that it was for the electricity effecieny. She had been bribed. We found out later that these "men in suits" where the Russian government. They had been reading our emails, istening to our calls, watching us. Because we were aliens, and because we were the enemy.  My mother, with reason was very worried, so she contacted an Ex-Cia agent in the US. He talked to his old colleagus and had a discussion with the Russian government, didn't work at all, because 3 months later, 60,000 dollars had been "magically been deposited" from our bank account. It was the Russian mafia. The Russian government sold our information to them like a cake. The location on the bill from the bank was a location in the russian part if Brooklyn, New York. Turns out the windows were boarded up, that wasn't the end of it. 30,000 more dollars were deposited again, even after we notified our banks about the problem. Recognizing there error, the paid the 90,000 dollars back to us. And that is my story relating to the rebel against the government in the book Red Scarf Girl.
